What are your top 5 priorties in a new home?

NAR (National Association of Realtors) has found that across the U.S. the following have been ranked as the top 5 priorities in a new home:

Air conditioning

walk-in closet

Hardwood floors and granite countertops

Cable/satellite TV-ready

Energy efficiency

Lets gather our own local top 5....ready, set, go!

I know that when my wife & I were looking for a home with Richelle that she would always help us find our likes in a home. My wifes top 5 were, jets in the master tub, open floor plan, large back yard, room to park our SUV in the garage, and a decent size dining area.

I wouldn't even consider A/C a priority...its a must in Oklahoma. 1) Location - The best house can't offset a lousy location. 2) Appealing floor plan layout 3) Closet space 4) Kitchen - looks, usability 5) Land - parcels are getting smaller!
